Integrative Cancer Care

Cancer is a disease that affects hundreds of thousand Canadians each year. While advances are being made in conventional cancer treatment with novel chemotherapy combinations and targeted therapies, many cancers still have high mortality rates. At MCNE we provide various non-conventional treatments based on the principles of naturopathic medicine many with the backing of solid scientific research. Benefits of the therapies we provide include:

  • Reduce side effects of and improve tolerance and efficacy of conventional chemotherapeutic treatment
  • Increase survival and reduce rates of cancer recurrence
  • Improve quality of life by increasing energy, reducing pain, improving appetite, etc.
  • Education and support for patients and their family
Patients with more advanced cancers who require aggressive therapeutic needs will likely be recommended to begin intravenous or infusion therapy with various natural therapeutics. Infusion therapy is minimally invasive and provides the best opportunity to deliver many cancer fighting natural substances at clinically relevant doses. Therapies like high dose vitamin C, european mistletoe, and sodium bicarbonate are common therapeutics administered by injection or intravenous infusion.
