Naturopathic Medicine
Most people see Naturopathic Medicine as treatment with Natural Approaches. Yet what makes Naturopathic Medicine unique is not the tools we use, but rather how we use them. Naturopathic Doctors see the body as an ecosystem made up of various organs which depend on each other for survival (much like animals and plants depend on each other in the environment). When there are imbalances in our internal environment we begin to see disease. It is the job of the Naturopathic Doctor to restore a healthy internal environment so that the body can maintain a state of health.
