Intravenous Therapy

Intravenous (IV) Therapies refer to the use of relatively high dose vitamins, minerals, homeopathics and botanicals given to individuals through a needle directly into their blood circulation. This is a relatively safe way to achieve the concentration levels necessary for many of these nutrients. Research in the field of naturopathic IV therapy is validating the use of various natural agents in this more aggressive dosage form. At MCNE we are experts in infusion therapy. The clinic director, Eric Marsden ND, is one of the course authors and instructors of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors Parenteral Therapy Certification Course. He also sits on the Parenteral Therapy Advisory Committee for the Board of Directors Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy (regulator for NDs in Ontario). He is widely considered one of the foremost experts in the field of naturopathic infusion therapy.

IV Therapies can be used safely and effectively for a variety of disorders including:

  • Heavy Metal Toxicity
