What to Expect...First Visit

Our goal during your first visit is to fully assess your current health situation and make you feel at home. At MCNE you will find tea and other refreshments along with educational materials in our waiting room. We care about your health and overall wellbeing so if there are special considerations we might need to observe for you please let us know. You can book your first appointment with our reception staff. A new patient intake will take between 2-3 hours depending on the assessments being performed. Since the intake is so extensive we require a minimum of 72 hours for cancellations otherwise a cancellation fee will apply.

Before your first visit:


  1. Fill in a comprehensive health assessment questionnaire that addresses all aspects of your health and environmental exposure history. It may take 1 or more hours to do this. In addition, you will be expected to provide a minimum of a 4 day diet diary.
    2 Patients undergoing functional terrain assessment will be required to fast for 10 hours prior to their visit and must take nothing by mouth for at least 4 hours prior to your visit. For more details on testing preparation click here.
    3 Please bring all medical test results from the past year (examples include blood work, diagnostic imaging like x-ray, ultrasound, CT scan or MRI).

During your first visit:


  1. Upon arrival, you will be first be seen by clinic residents or your practitioner who will perform necessary diagnostics tests.
    2 Results will be reviewed with you and a physical examination performed as required. A specific therapy plan will be created which will include dietary recommendations, exercise, therapeutic products, and more.
